Meet the Kamvas Team!
We are Thompson Rivers University (TRU) students enrolled in the JOUR 2060 – Introduction into Multi-media Storytelling course. We are excited to publish stories about the art scene in Kamloops. Feel free to reach out to any of our team if you have a question.

Cheyanne Watkinson – 2nd/3rd Year Student
- I am currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Communications and Digital Journalism, Majoring in Public Relations.
- My hometown is Lillooet, BC (~2hrs from Kamloops).
- I am currently working as a Communications Specialist for St’át’imc Government Services (SGS)
- In my personal time I enjoy playing ice hockey during the winter, and golf during the summer.

Hannah Booth – 4th Year Student
- I am currently in my last year of the Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in English.
- Following graduation I plan to apply to the Education Program at UBCO with the hopes of becoming an English teacher.
- I was born here in Kamloops, BC, having lived previously in Clearwater, BC until I moved back about 6 years ago.
- Outside of being a student, I have an interest in video games, animation, and love reptiles and aquatic pets.

Name – Prabha Gyawali/ Final year diploma student
Hello everyone. I am Prabha Gyawali, 25-year-old from Nepal, and I am currently pursuing a Diploma in Tourism Management at Thompson Rivers University. Passionate about exploring new places and cultures, I enjoy traveling, photography, and reading in my free time. These hobbies align with my enthusiasm for the tourism industry and ambition to promote unique destinations.

- I’m currently enrolled in the Batchelor of Fine Arts.
- I specialize in digital art and in drawing people though I sometimes use paper to sketch rough drafts.
- My hobbies include reading, writing and of course drawing.

Anudi Kumarasinghe – 1st Year Student
- I am currently enrolled in Bachelor of Communication and Digital Journalism.
- I’m from Sri Lanka and living in Kamloops as an International student.
- I like photography, composing songs, listening to music in my leisure time.

Sushil Pulami – Last Year Student
- I’m currently enrolled in Diploma in Tourism Management
- I come from Nepal and living in Kamloops as an International student.
- My hobbies are playing football, video games and travelling.
