Kamvas Podcast Ep.1 – Brody Fisher, Indigenous Artist
This week I met another fellow student at Thompson Rivers University (TRU), and he was happy to interview for our episode spotlighting a local Indigenous artist. Brody Fisher is not your typical artist, he does not specialize in one medium, but he is an artist that creates when inspiration strikes and draws by his feelings and thoughts.
Brody loves to spread love through his art, and its symbolic to him to portray that message through his pieces. He also believes that not all art is meant to be shared every time, he says when he creates a piece during times of stress or reflection, they are not appropriate to share with people and because of that he also sees art as a outlet for himself.
Listen to this podcast episode to learn more about Brody’s story and connection to art. I hope you enjoy this weeks canvassing of Kamloops art scene. Stay creative 😉
Brody did not feel comfortable with his picture being shared, but shared some pictures of what he has painted recently.
